Position title
IT Support Tech
Description

Under general supervision, schedules and coordinates maintenance of client computers, cable structure, inventory control, and telephone installation.  This position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for technology functions on a day-to-day basisme.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory of all equipment
  • Provide Help Desk Support for Windows 10, 11 and various programs
  • Provide assistance with Office 365 user creation and license assigning
  • Patching and terminating Cat 6
  • Install computers and phones as needed for users
  • Running and connecting network cables to vendors/exhibitors’ booths
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Operate a personal computer using Windows, Office and other standard office equipment.
  • Expert proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in desktop support and running patch cables
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy configuration
  • Have experience or be familiar with Windows 10, 11
  • Have experience or be familiar with Cisco network gear such as switches, routers, firewalls.
