OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Convention Center and Legends Global, premier partner to the world’s greatest live events, venues, and brands, are pleased to announce the promotion of Joshua Moore to Director of Food & Beverage for the venue, and will oversee all food and beverage operations throughout the premier convention facility.
As Director of Food & Beverage, Moore will lead food and beverage service for all conventions, conferences, banquets, trade shows, and other events hosted at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. His focus will be on delivering consistent quality, operational excellence and exceptional guest experience while supporting the venue’s continued growth under Legends Global, which serves as the venue’s food and beverage operator and management company.
“Josh has been part of OKCCC’s story since the very beginning, and has exceptional knowledge of our venue, our community, and our customers,” said Barbara Beaton, General Manager of the Oklahoma City Convention Center for Legends Global, which manages the venue. “His promotion reflects the depth of talent we have on our team and the standard of excellence our guests and partners have come to expect. As we continue to grow, Josh’s leadership will keep that experience front and center.”
Moore has been a dedicated member of the company for nearly nine years, beginning his journey in September 2017 at Chesapeake Energy Arena (now the Paycom Center), home of the Oklahoma City Thunder. One of his early accomplishments was helping establish the first Made in Oklahoma Coalition House restaurant at the Budweiser Brew House, where he championed the use of locally sourced products and built strong partnerships with Oklahoma producers.
Moore was also part of the opening team at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, contributing to its very first event and helping shape the venue’s culinary identity from day one. Under his leadership, convention center dining has evolved beyond traditional banquet and event fare, featuring elevated comfort foods with modern culinary influences that deliver memorable guest experiences while celebrating regional flavors.

Among his top priorities, Moore plans to continue elevating the convention center’s culinary program, strengthen partnerships with local and regional producers, and expand mentorship opportunities that connect culinary students with real-world experience at the venue. Beyond the kitchen, he is deeply committed to developing the next generation of culinary professionals, establishing meaningful partnerships with culinary schools and public education programs throughout Oklahoma. Through his work with Oklahoma ProStart, he helped guide a student team to the national level of competition, demonstrating his commitment to education, leadership and workforce development.
